Community Leach field Reclamation

Communities can quickly overload their septic systems and fill up their leach fields. Introducing SludgeHammer’s technology to preexisting systems provides a clean, environmentally-conscious solution to unclog and reclaim failed systems.

Mobile Home Parks

The 60 units at Stockton, California’s Tahoma Village, and 37 units at Traverse City, Michigan’s Silver Lake Mobile Home Park, both overloaded their septic systems and called on SludgeHammer for help. SludgeHammer installed six commercial units into the pre-existing septic systems effectively accommodating each park and at the same time beginning reclamation of the full leach fields.

Kraimia Marketplace

For years SludgeHammer has proven that it can remediate clogged and failing septic systems, but SludgeHammer also has the ability to design and install complete wastewater systems for new projects of any size.

The Kraimia Marketplace on the shores of the Mediterranean in Libya illustrates the efficiency and power of SludgeHammer. The 70-acre marketplace is like a city of 10,000 with in the city of Tripoli. This purpose designed and built wastewater treatment system has nearly 200 SludgeHammer units tucked into nearly one mile of underground treatment channels and tanks. This wastewater system processes 270,000 gallons of high strength waste produced from a major on site slaughterhouse and another 140,000 gallons of human waste from the meat market, produce market and all of the offices and work places that the new marketplace encompasses.

SludgeHammer’s ability to dramatically reduce solids in the system allows the final effluent to be reused on site with simple subsurface drip irrigation systems. SludgeHammer is the only treatment wastewater system that can make the arid Libyan dessert bloom.
